Terms of sale

Last updated 2026-10-17

These are the terms for buying and using the Build an AI Trading System course from Bentley Markets. They cover what you get, what it costs, how you get access, what you can and can't do with the lessons, and why all sales are final. Please read the summary below before you buy. If anything is unclear, email us and ask first.

Before you buy

  • What you get: Build an AI Trading System, a self-paced, pre-recorded video course. 11 lessons, about 53 minutes in total, streamed online at course.bentleymarkets.com. No downloads (see How long you have access if the course closes).
  • Try it first: lesson 01 is free. It plays for anyone, with no account, on bentleymarkets.com/course. In the course app it needs a free account (an email sign-in) but no purchase. Lessons 02 to 11 are for buyers.
  • Price: US$99, paid once, plus any tax shown at checkout. The total including tax is shown before you pay.
  • All sales are final. We refund a double purchase, or a purchase where you can't get access and we can't fix it. See Refunds.
  • Education only: the course is not financial, investment, tax or legal advice, and nothing in it is guaranteed. Crypto trading carries a high risk of loss. Read the risk disclaimer.
  • Running costs are separate: to build the system you will need your own accounts with third-party services, some of which charge you directly. The course estimates these costs at tens of dollars a month, depending on their prices and how much you use them. This is an estimate, not a quote.

Description

Build an AI Trading System: a self-paced, pre-recorded online video course with 11 lessons (about 53 minutes in total). Lesson 01 is free: it plays with no account on bentleymarkets.com/course, and in the course app with a free account. Buying unlocks lessons 02 to 11.

It shows how Bentley, an AI trading co-pilot, is built. The lessons are narrated slides. Lessons 02 to 04 walk through setting up a server and an AI agent command by command. Lessons 05 to 10 show the design behind Bentley, with real screens and simplified example code, which you use to brief Claude Code to build your own version. Lesson 11 covers what we learned and a plan for your first month. The course covers:

  • a rented Linux server (Hostinger) running an open-source agent (Hermes by Nous Research);
  • a GPT brain (through a ChatGPT plan) or a Claude brain (through an Anthropic API key);
  • a private Telegram bot, data feeds and a dashboard;
  • AI-written trade setups with scores, a market regime view and guardrails;
  • a paper trader with a demo exchange account, and a ledger that grades decisions.

Lessons include captions. Transcripts and copyable command cards are planned. Education only. It does not include advice, trade signals, a managed account or any software we run for you.

Itemized price
Build an AI Trading System course (lessons 02 to 11; lesson 01 is free), one-time purchase: US$99.00. If you use a promo code, the discount is shown before you pay.
Taxes
Sales taxes are calculated at checkout by Stripe Tax where we are registered to collect them, based on your location. The tax amount is shown before you pay.
Total price
US$99.00 plus any tax shown at checkout. The exact total, including tax, is shown on the checkout page before you pay.
Currency
US dollars (USD).
Payment terms
One payment, in full, at checkout. Payment is handled by Stripe Checkout (card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or Link). There are no instalments, subscriptions or renewals. Buy now, pay later options are not offered at launch.
Other charges
None from us. Your bank or card issuer may add its own fees, such as a currency conversion fee, which we do not control. Separately, building the system in the course needs your own accounts with third-party services (see Third-party services). Some of them charge you directly, not through us. The course estimates these costs at tens of dollars a month, depending on their prices and how much you use them. This is an estimate, not a quote.
Delivery date
After your payment clears, we email you your sign-in.
Delivery method
Online only. Lessons stream at course.bentleymarkets.com after you sign in with a 6-digit code sent to your email. You need an internet connection and a current web browser. Nothing is shipped. Lessons can't be downloaded, except through the download option we give you if the course closes (see How long you have access).
Cancellation and refund policy
All sales are final. We will refund a double purchase, or a purchase where you can't get access and we can't fix it. Nothing in this policy limits your rights under consumer protection law. Full details are in Refunds.
Other restrictions or conditions
  • One person per account. No sharing logins, and no recording, downloading, re-uploading or redistributing lessons.
  • You must be 18 or older to buy the course or create an account.
  • Lifetime access, meaning for as long as the course is offered, with 60 days' notice and a download option if it closes.
  • Education only. Not financial, investment, tax or legal advice. See the risk disclaimer.

The agreement and how it is formed

These terms are a contract between you and Bentley Markets, doing business as Bentley Markets ("we", "us", "our"). "You" means the person buying or using the course.

Before you pay, the checkout page shows your total and lets you correct your details or leave without buying. You can print or save these terms.

The contract is formed when you:

  1. tick the required box at checkout that says "I agree to the Terms, all sales are final", and
  2. complete payment, and the payment clears.

When you buy, we keep a purchase record with the amount, currency, status, country and Stripe payment IDs. It also holds the version of these terms you accepted and the time you accepted it. Right after purchase we send an order email that repeats the key terms and links to these terms. Stripe also emails you a receipt.

These terms work together with our privacy policy and our risk disclaimer.

Your account and signing in

  • You sign in at course.bentleymarkets.com with a 6-digit code we email to you.
  • Use an email address that you control and check. Your access is tied to it. You can't change it in the app. Email us if you need to move your access to a new address.
  • Keep your sign-in codes and any password private. Don't forward them to anyone.
  • Each account is for one person. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has used your account.
  • Marketing email is optional. You only get it if you opted in. You can opt in by ticking the unticked box in the course app ("Email me when new Bentley lessons or courses come out"), or by joining the waitlist on bentleymarkets.com/course. Our privacy policy lists every sign-up form. You can change your choice on your Account page, and every marketing email has an unsubscribe link.
  • Sign-in codes and order emails are sent whatever you choose, because the course needs them.

We save your lesson progress (where you are in each lesson, seconds watched and whether you finished it) so you can pick up where you left off. Each time a paid lesson (02 to 11) is opened for streaming on your account, we log the lesson, time, IP address, browser (user agent) and country (the playback log). We use this log to keep accounts secure, for example to spot shared accounts and apply rate limits, and as a record if a charge is disputed. Our privacy policy explains what we collect and why.

Your licence and acceptable use

When you buy, or when we give you access, we give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to stream the lessons for your own learning, for the access period below. In plain words: only you can use it, you can't pass it on, and other buyers get the same licence. You are buying access to watch the course. You do not own the videos.

You may:

  • watch the lessons as often as you need for your own learning, on your own devices, within normal use limits that protect accounts;
  • use what you learn, including the commands and code shown in the lessons, to build and run your own system for your own use.

You may not:

  • share your login or let anyone else use your account;
  • record, screen-capture, download, copy, re-upload or redistribute any lesson, in whole or in part. There are two exceptions. You may copy the commands and code shown in the lessons or on command cards to build your own system (see above). You may also use any download option we give you if the course closes;
  • sell, rent or publish the course or any part of it, or sublicense it (let anyone else use it under your licence);
  • try to get around the sign-in, the video protection or any other access control;
  • say or suggest that we endorse you, your advice, your signals or anything you build.

We use rate limits, and we watch for signs of account sharing, such as one account being used from many places.

How long you have access

You have lifetime access to the course. "Lifetime" means the life of the course: you have access for as long as the course is offered, with 60 days' notice and a download option if it closes.

If we decide to stop offering the course, we will email you at least 60 days before access ends. Before it ends, we will give you a way to download the lessons.

Refunds

All sales are final.

Lesson 01 is free so you can see the teaching style and content before you buy. Access to the full course starts as soon as we set it up after your payment clears. Because of that, we do not offer refunds for a change of mind or for not finishing the course.

We will refund you in these cases:

  • Double purchase: you were charged more than once for the same course. We refund the extra charge, and your access stays as it is.
  • Access we can't fix: you can't get into the course or play the lessons, and we can't fix the problem after working on it with you. We refund the full amount you paid.

To ask for one of these refunds, email bentley@bentleymarkets.com and tell us what happened. If you can, email us from the address on your account. Approved refunds go back to the original payment method through Stripe.

If we refund your only purchase, your access to lessons 02 to 11 ends. Refunding a duplicate charge does not change your access.

Card disputes

The charge appears on your statement as BENTLEY.

If something is wrong with your purchase, please email us first. Most problems, such as a double charge, can be fixed that way.

If you dispute the charge with your bank or card issuer, we will answer the dispute with our records. These are your purchase record, your acceptance of these terms (including the version and time) and the playback log for your account. This does not affect any right the law gives you to ask your card issuer to reverse a charge.

Availability and changes to the course

  • We may update lessons, fix mistakes, re-record parts, or add material when tools or services change. The course you can watch will always be the current version. Updates will not take away the substance of the course described in Information we must give you before you buy.
  • We aim to keep the course available at all times. It can be unavailable for short periods for maintenance, or because of problems with the services it runs on (such as our hosting, sign-in or video providers).
  • Planned features, such as transcripts and command cards, may be added after launch. They are not part of what you are buying until they are live.

Third-party services

The course shows how to use services run by other companies, including:

  • Hostinger (the rented Linux server);
  • OpenAI and ChatGPT;
  • Anthropic and Claude, including an Anthropic API key;
  • Hermes by Nous Research (an open-source agent);
  • Telegram;
  • public exchange and market data APIs (the data feeds);
  • crypto exchanges and their demo accounts;
  • Claude Code.

These services have their own terms, prices and risks. We don't control them, we don't sell them, and they may change at any time. When they do, some steps in the lessons may stop matching exactly what you see.

You sign up with them yourself, and you pay any of their charges directly. You are responsible for following their terms and the laws where you live, including any rules on using crypto exchanges. You are also responsible for keeping your server, API keys and exchange accounts secure (see Security of your own server and keys).

Your payment for the course is processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. Stripe's own terms and privacy policy apply to the payment.

Mentioning a service in the course is not an endorsement. For our responsibility when these services cause a problem, see Limits on our responsibility.

Education only

The course teaches you how to build a tool. It does not tell you what to trade.

  • It is not financial, investment, tax or legal advice, and it is not a recommendation to buy or sell anything. Bentley Markets is not registered with any securities regulator.
  • Crypto trading carries a high risk of loss, and leverage makes losses bigger and faster. Start with paper trading. Nothing is guaranteed, and results depend on how each trader manages their trades. Bentley is a co-pilot that you work with and supervise, not a hands-off system. AI output can be wrong, so check it before you act.
  • The course openly shows several ideas that had no edge in our own tests (lesson 11). We do not claim that any approach in the course has an edge or will make money.

We make no performance or income claims. Please read the full risk disclaimer before you buy.

Intellectual property

The course belongs to BENTLEY MARKETS or is used with permission. That includes the videos, voice-over, scripts, slides, captions, transcripts, command cards and the Bentley Markets name and branding.

Your licence to watch it is set out in Your licence and acceptable use. Everything not given to you in these terms is kept by us.

Other companies' names and products shown in the course belong to their owners. Open-source software shown in the course, such as Hermes, is covered by its own licence.

Suspension and ending access

We may suspend or end your access if you break the rules in Your licence and acceptable use (for example, by sharing your account). We may also do this if you use a stolen card or make a fraudulent purchase.

Where we can, we will email you first and give you a chance to explain. If we end your access because you broke these terms, you will not get a refund, except where the law requires one.

You can stop using the course and ask us to close your account at any time. Closing your account ends your access and does not give you a refund. When an account is closed, we delete your lesson progress. We keep your purchase record, because it is a financial record, and the playback log, for the periods set out in our privacy policy.

Limits on our responsibility

To the extent the law allows:

  • The course is education only. We are not responsible for any trading or investment losses, for decisions you make, or for the output of any AI model.
  • We are not responsible for what third-party services do, or for any loss they cause.
  • We are not liable for indirect losses, such as lost profits or lost opportunities (sometimes called indirect or consequential losses).

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
